川久對精神和生活方式感興趣;

1942 born self- taught Japanese fashion designer that challenges norm of fashion, aimed to produce experimental concepts.

Starting her brand ‘Comme des Garçons’ by the age of 27, her designs give a sense of pure arbitrary imagination and creativity,

as well as the reconsideration of human form which led to a style of constructions and deconstructions.

She did not attempt to produce to please audience, but an anti-fashion that is able to bring generationl shocks.

Kawakubo is interested in the spirit and the way of living;

by overlaying and sculpting of cloths, they represent independence and fun, as well as to show anger towards modern fast fashion.

This extraordinary way to approach fashion gives the most overwhelming and controversial emotional evocations that oscillates, most significance in influencing the modern day world.

I wanted to explore the beauty of organic shapes, the ones that shock and contain mysteries. The ones that have Light shine on and show great beauty of light and dark.

I believe curves and forms give strong visual impact, because it is What we should call 'REGULAR'. You will never see water that is rectangular without being contained and you’ve certainly never seen an animal or human being with rectangular body parts. But nowadays, geometric squares or rectangles have become 'the culture' itself, became the trendsetter, the ordinaries?

From rectangular phones, squared picture frames, cuboid curtain wall buildings…

Where is the sense of organic and natural?
