在墨西哥，一面長2-3米、高3.6米的單個混凝土牆，
“與令人驚嘆的海灘共享550米海岸線”，用於為該地點創造獨特的特色。
作為一個藝術家休息的工作室／房屋，這個“孤立的天堂”利用了以自然、文化為驅動的焦點為設計，
同時在混凝土的嚴肅與柔和的照明之間保持平衡，旨在讓舒緩感最大化。
安藤通過開放式休息室將建築與周圍的自然相連接，
通過Palapa屋頂和細膩的心靈表現出對傳統精神的尊重，
同時為該地點的氣候系統提供自然通風。
混凝土、Palapa屋頂和地點結合了傳統和現代美學，它們奇怪地相互結合，但完美地共同工作。

Casa Wabi Bosco Studio House / Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, Mexico
2014
In Mexico, a single concrete wall of 2-3 m long and 3.6 m high,
“sharing 550 metres of coastline with only breathtaking beach”, is used to create unique character for the location.
As an artist retreat and studio house, this “Isolated paradise” utilised design driven by regionalism,
while keeping the equilibrium between starkness of concrete and softness of light, aims to maximise the sense of relaxation.
Ando connects the architecture with the surrounding nature through an open lounge,
expressing respect for traditional spirit through Palapa roofs,
while providing natural ventilation due to the site's climate system.
Concrete, Palapa roofs and the location, combined with traditional and modern aesthetics, oddly merged and worked together.
They provide a stark contrast, offering a variety of stimuli for visual and tactile perception, potentially enhancing levels of pleasure and enjoyment.
Residents’ definitions of comfort and spiritual relaxation are a crucial part in designing this retreat house,
Ando responds with a place that touch people’s emotions and embody warmth, allowing people to define it satisfactorily.

這是人們在艱難時期感受到的一種感覺，我們在柔軟和溫柔之間卻充滿荊棘。
這是一個舒適的空間，色彩的進發中帶有一種脆弱感，被純白色所吞噬，放置著巨大的高大玻璃，能夠傳遞光線，這是對理解的渴望，被理解的渴望，被照亮的渴望。

Knife House
This is the sense of feeling that felt by people going through hard times, where we are soft and tender but full of thorns.
It is a comfortable space with sense of vulnerability in the burst of colours engulfed by this purity of white, placing huge tall glass that transmit light, it is the crave of understanding, the crave of being understood, the crave of being shine onto.
I wanted to make it sharp, like knives that scare away invaders, and spread out like a protective screen; in order to protect myself, the personal space and those feelings I wanted to hide.
